How does the Commission process work?

Tell us about your idea via the ' contact us.' page.

I always work from photographs, so if there's a specific painting you would like copied please let me know which it is, and also what size you would require.

The most popular sizes I paint are: 12"x 10",   16"x12",  20"x16",  and 24"x 20". Larger sizes can be done.

You may have seen an existing painting(s) that you would like me to copy, similar to some of the studies on this web site. A few are famous paintings and you may recognise them from other well known artists.

Once I've seen what you require, and also what size you need, I can give you a price.

The painting process  can take from two to five weeks. However, this can be longer if there is a queue. You will be contacted along the journey to make sure that you are satisfied that the painting is going in the right direction. This is a good way of ensuring you are happy throughout the process.

You will be shown the finished product, to which you may comment on any minor details, or suggest small adjustments to be made.

Once you are happy with the finished painting, the full balance is payable, and it will then be posted to you.

(The overall commission process is actually very simple, and it is an enjoyable journey for both parties on going from an idea to the finished product! We can guide you through the process and explain each step as we reach it, ensuring that you are in control and up to date with what is going on.

Please get in touch via the 'Contact Us' page, and we will take it from there.
